White tea derives its name from the silver fuzz that still covers the buds, which turns white when the tea is dried. Now modern science is discovering the full potential of the mysterious white tea. White tea is the least processed tea making it the most natural blend of tea. So let’s get to the interesting part with the benefits of white tea:

White tea contains antioxidants that help stop the growth of cancer cells as well as prevent the growth of new ones. It has been found quite effective in preventing the formation of various kinda of cancer. Research is still ongoing on its aid to cancer patients.

White tea has been seen to makes bones much stronger. Research on those who drink white tea and those who don’t has revealed that white tea users have a slightly stronger bone density and strength.

It reduces blood pressure levels due to its ability to thin the blood and create a favorable environment for blood circulation. This is one of the differences it has between green tea which can not aid in blood pressure regulation.

It lowers cholesterol levels. Another group of antioxidants called Catechins has been found to reduce cholesterol levels in the body, cholesterol is basically a type of fat in our body which is necessary for our health, and white tea has been found to keep cholesterol level in just the right amount. This helps prevent hardening of the arteries and blockage of blood flow.

White tea makes your heart generally healthier. This is done by combining the above benefits of it to blood pressure, cholesterol and circulation. It helps prevent the heart from strokes. It has also been proven by research that white tea can reduce the chances of getting a heart attack by 50 percent.

It makes your skin fresh and healthy. Being exposed to sunlight, a poor diet and high levels of stress can cause the skin to age faster and prematurely, thus making your skin wrinkled and makes you look older then you are. White tea protects the skin and helps to reverse some of the damage.

To conclude, White tea has many more benefits that would take more than a few hundred words to write.
